Improving Work from Home Productivity

When home is ‘the’ workplace we need to think of balancing our household chores with being productive.   3. Stick to Schedule: Sticking to a planned schedule may be a hard choice in work from home environment as the mind tends to think too many things at a time. Planning your day beforehand helps in conducting your work actions in a systemized way.

  4. Take Regular Breaks: Taking regular breaks will help in keeping your mind calm and motivated. Small breaks help in keeping the concentration level high and improving the efficiency of doing work.

  5. Restrict Social Media Apps during Work Hours: No matter whatever happens home will always be our leisure space. Even if we are working for 15-16 hours from home we will be engaged in some or other kind of distraction. The major distraction is the social media apps that we engage in whenever we want to take a break. We can restrict the use of these app by using silent notifications of these apps for the required period.

  6. Maintain Physical & Mental Health: To be proactive 24/7 it is important that we keep ourselves physically and mentally calm. Doing regular exercises and mediation provides the required strength to mind and reduces stress.
